Launched last month, Honor 10 has been making waves across the world with its advanced AI 2.0 technology and dual-lens camera. One look at the phone and you know that Honor takes its slogan, “For the Brave” seriously – it’s super sleek and like no phone you’ve even seen. The first thing you notice about the Honor 10 is its stunning design. It has a 3D glass back with a nano-scale optical coating made with 15 layers of gleaming color that changes from royal blue to deep purple as light falls on it from different angles. It’s available in two colours – Phantom Blue and Midnight Black. The Honor 10 has a 24MP+16MP dual-lens AI camera which can recognize more than 500 scenarios in real-time. This means it knows when there’s a person, the sky, plants, waterfall in the photo and it makes the right adjustments to the settings accordingly, making every photo you take look like it was taken by a professional photographer.

Even the front 24MP camera is supported by AI 2.0 technology. The selfie cam supports 3D face recognition, can detect 100+ facial points and automatically enhances details of multiple faces at the same time. It also has many in-built studio lighting effects designed to give you the perfect selfie and groupfie every time, everywhere. It also has an ultra-fast face unlock feature which makes your life easier.

Display

Honor 10’s screen ticks all the right boxes. It has a 5.84-inch full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a notch at the top. You also have the option of disabling the notch, which adds a black band at the top instead. The 19:9 bezel-less aspect ratio is a treat to look at and is very comfortable to hold. The ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor under the glass is an industry-first and feels super cool and futuristic.

Performance

With an impressive 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, you can do pretty much whatever you want on the Honor 10. It’s powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 processing chip and an independently built-in NPU processor, which allows you to multitask and play high-end games on the Honor 10 without any lag. Its 3400mAh battery is more than enough for even heavy users.

Software

Honor 10 runs Android 8.1 Orea with the latest EMUI 8.1 skin on it. EMUI has many useful extra features built-in like the Clear Talk feature, Health app, Quik video editor.
